“I purchased this hitch and the universal 5th wheel rail kit for my 2005 Nissan Nismo Frontier. The install of rails took me 1 evening of planning and then another evening for the actual install. The quality is excellent and I received the shipment sooner than expected. I like the idea that I can also switch to a fifth wheel hitch if I need to. I haul a 16′ livestock gooseneck trailer with this hitch and can hardly tell the trailer is there.”

“This was the only product I could find for my 2005 Dodge Dakota. The installation kit must be purchased seperately. Using only hand tools and a 3/8 drill I was able to install it in an evening and tow my 20 ft trailer the next day. It does have just a bit of play that is noticable on a quick stop if the trailer brakes are not adjusted heavy enough. Other than that it is solid. Head removes easily and I just stow it in the front compartment of the trailer. Instructions are easy to follow. My truck was not one of the ones with detailed instructions but was still easy enough to understand. I bought another truck and just have to buy the universal installation kit and the hitch could then be used in either. The head stays with the trailer so it does not matter which truck I use. The little tracks left in the bed after the head is removed are short enough it is no problem rolling a motorcycle over them. It was the perfect solution for my towing needs!”
